We have a street part at a little park opposite too.  It's been happening for the last 4 years since some country folk built a house in the neighbourhood.  They do an invite drop and prepare the park with their grandchildren.  It's really lovely to have some Christmas spirit and an opportunity to meet the people behind the closed doors of today's world.

We're very lucky as we know all our immediate neighbours.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Evening friends.

Just back from grocery shopping.I went early ( 7.30am) to miss the crowds, other people had the same idea too :-)) Of course sitting here I realize I forgot a couple of things :P I might brave my local town later :-X

Last shop for me today, heading off soon, I'm sure the shops will be crowded. Fortunately it is only food shopping for me today. :)

Good morning everyone, I also need to go to the shop for a few items and imagine it will be chaos around there.

Taking a bag of cleaning products in to Morpeth today for one of the ladies who won one of my food hampers.  She asked me if I do this type of thing as a business  :D  She also asked if she could buy the cleaning products (I did 3 food hampers and 1 cleaning product hamper for their draw) so I whipped them up last night.  I won't charge her but I have written out the 'recipes' so that she can make them for herself once her 2 litre bottles of Miracle spray and Window cleaner need replenishing.  We want everyone to know about these products don't we girls ;D
