Review of Braised Brussel Sprouts For Food's Sake page 67

This is a review from ELH05

I wanted to say I made the Brussel Sprout side dish recipe from FFS last night - I halved the recipe as there was only 2 of us and only had diced bacon on hand - but wow - I never knew Brussel Sprouts could taste soooo good !

I love a good side dish recipe so this one will be used again & again !!

Thanks for reviewing this, I have some B.sprouts in the fridge and will try it tonight

Just thought I would let you all know I made my version of this last night,  LOL, I also used bacon, didn't have verjuice so I used white wine with a little sugar and the pepper so it caramelized nice. I was steaming other veggies so cooked the sprouts in a small frypan with the bacon, didn't have pinenuts, so as i said my version but it was nice.
