I do something similar as I write on the recipe: ring tin, large/small lasagne dish, pudding dish, slice tin, small bread tin

I know which tin etc I'm referring to if I've cooked it successfully in that dish before.

We got to the airport an hour before take off and it was a night mare and only 4 staff on.

Basically all I can say is:

. why was our 2 course meal $44, when they had on the placard near the entry stairway to the restaurant a special advertising a 3 course meal with a glass of wine for $45
. each meal should have been served at the correct time (as per other comments) as it seems wrong to be eating a dessert and watching someone eat their main course
. our air con was quite noisy turning itself off and on every 10 secs (must be an auto setting) and even though we were told a technician would come and fix it whilst we were out on Sunday, it appeared to be the same. Our room was otherwise very quiet.
. wifi was unreliable, I used my own

the positives:
. excellent central location to shops and public transport
. room was clean and had all the facilities required
. staff were very polite, and could not do enough for guests
. Haighs was maybe too convenient
. tariff was reasonable enough

All in all a wonderful weekend catching up with other Thermomixers, and of course our DD.

We might be on the same plane as you both, leaving at about 9:20am I think off memory. Haven't started packing as yet, but I've got the important stuff like my mask, feather boa, gift card, and the cook books. Will chuck clothes in a suitcase tonight and that will be that.

sounds like the biccies were not quite up to scratch cookie if they were "interesting"?

(lol had to laugh as I pressed  Post that auto correct altered biccies to biceps   :o  could have got a lot of people scratching their heads and wondering what is in my morning tea)

What an unusual situation that you can only buy the discontinued model from the dealer. Is it second hand or new? How did you hear about the TM? Is it popular in Greece?

...and after all those questions - welcome tirene  :)

OMG, I think I've read a few good books since this last post. I will have to have a look. I did read the book about the O'Briens that cookie recommended and found it very insightful, a disease which I now am more aware of since this book. Its amazing how reading a book can really make you see how important it can be to be aware of genetically inherited diseases.

I couldn't source "coconut palm sugar" but used coconut blossom sugar from C*les which says on the packet its Indonesian and 10 points lower in GI than raw sugar. I have palm sugar in the cupboard but thought there may be a "coconut" flavour or something to taste here. I don't know about that, but it was a really delicious meal that was devoured. I would say this is definitely a "Rush Hour" meal as it is quick and easy and better than takeaway. I love how Tenina says it serves between 4-6 people - when my DS and DH or any male at the table for that matter it will serve the lesser amount as they will always go back for seconds.

An alternative to getting the wifi in your hotel room is to tether your mobile to your device. You are using data though so if you don't have much data in your plan you may go over, and then it could cost you more than the hotel wifi depending on your provider...if you are only using it very briefly though its probably not going to use much

I'd say we will probably meet up with DD for dinner and then join the revelry afterwards
