Chelsea, I've made both, but this is my favourite.  The reduced amount of coconut does make it a bit more moist and less crumbly.

Lol dede....thanks, but no. I Just use an old kodak 12 mp., get as close as I can until it's out of focus, and that's it really.

Thanks Debbie that is good to know.  I might even halve this recipe as I was after a smaller slice.  :)

Have to agree with Debbie - this has become our favourite choc slice after making the recipe from Day to Day Cookery for years - similar version to that posted by Narelle with the addition of an egg.  I prefer the moistness of this one - thanks a bunch Dede!!!!
