Ooh, I love the look of this one & especially like the chocolate option too. I'm in hot & humid Hong Kong right now, but will be making this for brekky just as soon as I get home to the winter chill.

Fab food Judy! It's bloody humid here, though & I hate that. My hair has gone completely mad and is sticking straight up in corkscrew curls - I've given up on it.
We leave tomorrow night for Italy - more great food.

Ha ha, I can just see your hair reacting to the humidity.

Hi everyone,

I posted this photo on the other thread for this recipe in Breakfasts, and thought I would post here as well.

I made this one tonight and put a small handful of blueberries in the bottom of my glass first.

That sounds nice. I have made it twice now. The first one was a little too bananary ( is that a word?) for me as my bananas were very strong. This morning I only put in half a banana and some Crio Bru and adjusted the proportions slightly. I debated whether I should blitz the Crio with the oats- I didn't and I should have. It was a bit gritty.
It caught a little on the bottom of my Thermo Chef, but not as bad as the other porridges I have tried. With a little more tweaking I think I'm on a winner.
Thanks Amy!

No worries ES, glad to hear you're experimenting!!! :D

I like a good strong banana flavour, so I often use very ripe bananas :D Just my personal preference ;) I am yet to try Judy's version with the apple, but I will soon.

Oh, somehow I missed JD's suggestion about the apple. Maybe I'll try that tomorrow, but I still have half a banana in the fridge...

I did make it this morning with apple instead of banana. I also blitzed the Crio Bru with the oats.. I liked this a lot, but it's hard to get my head around chocolate porridge. It just doesn't sound right somehow.

Glad the apple and Croi Bru worked for you ES :D
Lol don't worry about the chocolate porridge thing. I haven't actually tried it yet either. I like good old fruit with my porridge ;)
