Thanks. I made DH park well away from the trees as it was so windy. Last night we free camped at a place called The Breakaways. It was so pretty. I thought I would be scared as we were the only ones there, but I wasn't. The beauty was well worth it.

Thank you. We stayed in a tiny town called Salmon Gums last night, but it had a cute caravan park which we had been told about. It ended up being freezing (1.9*). DH put the heater on about 5am.

We drove on to Esperance today and arrived here just before lunch. We have a lovely view of the ocean.
Just south of Salmon Gums we saw a green salt lake, we've never seen a green one before.

We spent another day in Esperance. Today we went out to Stonehenge. A farmer has re created it on his farm using pink granite carved from a quarry near him. It is amazing. The tall slabs weigh around 50 ton.

Love it cookie, what a great effort by that farmer to do something like that which allows tourists to come onto his property.  Did you have to pay to see it?
