We have a sunny morning here. A good walk with Chance across the fields and along the public footpaths.

Good news about your eyes Chookie. You deserve your new cookbooks after the stress of buying and selling houses. Did you find those new dining chairs?

Good idea of preparing the oranges before your Mum tucks into them Judy ;)

Good morning everyone.  A beautiful day here, perfect for our Probus mystery tour.  To be able to just sit back and relax and be driven somewhere, I'm looking forward to it.

Ooh! What was that Robyn?

Where did your mystery tour go Judy? It sounds exciting.

We went to the Barossa cookie.  First stop Seppeltsfield Winery, on to lunch at the Vine Inn in Nuriootpa then called into Maggie Beer's on the way back where most of the ladies bought something.  Great day, perfect weather, nice food and great company.  I offered to take 3 ladies who were going to catch the train home from our drop off point, they lived in my suburb (they belong to a Legacy group who help fill our buses if we are short of bums on seats).  It turns out they live in the retirement village Mum used to live in and 2 of the 3 knew Mum.

What a lovely day out for you Judy.

It started foggy, then the sun came out but this afternoon the clouds rolled in. Chance and I did a longer walk this morning.

Warming up a bit. Noticed that it was much cooler when we got to Invermay after being in the city.
CC good idea to take advantage of the good weather.
Judy,  glad you enjoyed your day trip. Sounds good.
Obbie, you will have plenty to make out of your new books.
Cookie, your brother may enjoy the 'Swanston' as it is so central. We stay at the cheaper ' Welcome' which is pretty basic. Although the rooms have been painted and have new bathrooms, they are very small. We basically stay there because of the Valet parking. It is $45 for the day and you can call for your car whenever you need it at no extra cost.

Good morning everyone.  Quite a hot one here for today (29) but it's just a flash in a pan as it will drop 10 degrees tomorrow.  Last night I went to GS's last concert, he's decided he doesn't really want to do choir anymore - we were lucky he did a year just to please us. It was a great night, I love hearing the children sing, kids are so talented today.

They are great books Robyn, you will enjoy them.

Chookie why not stay at the Welcome? You can drop your parcels back when you wish too and go to the toilet etc. My brother wanted something similar for when they were over there, as they eat in the city and wanted to be able to walk home. For me Melbourne is a treat, for you a necessity-like me going into central Perth.

The weather here is abominable. I even received a RED alert text from the insurance company. Very windy and we have had a fair bit of rain. Real Port weather, but not good for me now so I will be brave.
