A lovely sunset cookie.  It's nice that others are sharing their catch with you but DH did OK for himself too catching enough for a meal or two from the beach.

Finnally home from Zurich and done with the audit. So time to retry the Korma from our favorite Indian cookbook.  And maybe cream puffs.

I made the Korma before I left but haven't been able to play with my thermomix in weeks

Waiting for a friend to ring so I can pick her up from the garage. She is having her car serviced.  We will probably go out for lunch later.

In between feeding tradies I have managed to cut back plants in veggie garden. Time to plant broad beans and garlic.

You have all been very busy. I slept in, went for a couple of walks and read!

Today I've been busy from 8.30 am until 6 pm with final preparations for my contribution to my Probus Club's birthday party tomorrow. Photos of what I've plated up today. I may have to do them 1 at a time.
Baked orange & sultana cheesecake - a larger plate done for the party.

My lemon meringue slice didn't work out, the pastry was too soggy so I made lemon meringue mess!

My savoury platter - chicken tenderloins crumbed with Italian style breadcrumbs from the EDC.  I've also made quiches, vol au vents and cheese & onion filled bread sticks.

Finally, our Costco birthday cake. I have our plaque to sit within the circle of cream piping but will do that at the hall as the cake is easier to transport if the shrink wrap is not broken.

Wow, Judy, you've done it again.  What a tremendous spread - your Probus ladies must absolutely love you - I know I am deeply envious of them getting all your treats.  Should you wish to send a sample of the leftovers my way I'll not say no (not that I would imagine there would be any leftovers)!
