I made some Hokey Pokey biscuits this afternoon. I used molasses instead of golden syrup. http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4845.0
I also cooked the SD fruit loaf i made yesterday. I left it on the bench overnight and didn't cook it until about 1today. It rose for about 20 hours.

Nice baking cookie.
When I saw a link to a banana & passionfruit loaf on FB tonight I raced out into the kitchen and made it. So simple in the Thermomix. https://recipeadaptors.wordpress.com/2013/08/25/banana-and-passionfruit-loaf/. Mine looks a different colour, don't know why!
The other day I made this one of Chookies into cup cakes using sultanas instead of raisins to use up some overripe bananas.

Judy, Chookie & Cookie, these fritters are not something I would bother making again.  I thought they were very bland and really needed something to give them a bit of a kick and I did add extre veg.  DH and DS were not impressed and said they were just ok.  This morning DH fed the last 2 to his pet crow Russell.

Thanks Margaret, I won't bother making them then - there are many other recipes to try.

Lots of cooking this weekend - pizza tofu sticks (not too great), Spicy wedges with ranch dressing, peanut butter and potato curry, sausage bake, eggplant cacciatore, vege stew and peach and raspberry 'nice' cream.  That should go some way to refilling my empty freezers.

Mab, thanks for your report on the fritters. What did Russell think?
Marina, you cook the most unusual things. Very interesting. I bought a book by Lee Holmes and she uses a lot of nutritional yeast. Do you use this?
Hamburgers for lunch. ....??? For dinner.

Yes, I do use nutritional yeast.  It has a very distinctive taste and it took me a while to get used to it, but I use it a lot now.  It is very good for you.
