Our guest stayed overnight. As he is batching I made him 2 SD loaves to take home. I made them in 2 small cast iron pots.
Bit windy this morning.

Chookie seeing Costa from gardening show would have set my kids in giggles , they think his beard is rather large and have always commented how eating would be a problem . He is a character with so much knowledge.
Yesterday we watched DD play netball , it was so hot at 9.30am that we felt like we were all getting sunburnt. Then on to DS belt promotion for Martial arts .

Got up early to bake SD loaves.
DD came second in a bike race. Several hundred riders were trying to race a steam train from Castlemaine to Maldon.
Visitor gone. Very warm all day. Same for rest of the week.

We had our car on display again today, with other club members. It was a good turn out of all sorts of older cars. Quite a pretty drive once we left the city, about 100 miles all up. The car went well.

Hi friends.
A hard frost on the ground this morning when I walked Chance. It's been a beautiful sunny day but very cold.

I knew that bike race was coming up, Chookie, but didn't realise it was this weekend.  They don't usually use the steam train during the fire season (they use diesel instead, I think).  I like to see the steam train - we rode it once from Castlemaine to Maldon and it was good fun.  Hope your DD enjoyed the race.

Judy, not sure if they beat it, will ask.
Very warm today. Got up early to do outside jobs.
CC, frost sounds nice. Usually followed by sunny day.

Good morning everyone.  33 expected here today.
Expecting DD a bit later, she is bringing one of their guys to measure for shade blinds for the pergola.

Hello all, busy weekend, we went skiing for 3 hours with the kids, they loved it.  :) Only 2 boats on the lake, and we were 1 of them.

Judy that sounds exciting.

dh wont go for nostalgic rides on steam trains as his Dad worked on the railways and he rode them a fair bit as a kid, he says they are smelly, sooty things. I like them and the nostalgia involved. I remember as a kid they often started fires when they dropped the firebox, and of course they went through the farmers crops. We lived a long way from any railway lines so missed that sort of fire.

Robyn the skiing sounds fun. Do you ski? I was always the 'spotter.'

Hi friends.
Chance enjoyed his morning walk as usual even though it was raining LOL We walked past two very cute foals on our route today. They were very interested in Chance but there was a sturdy fence between them and us.
