Yummy food. I made a Paleo fruit cake from Tenina's site and some bread.

Robyn, how does your daughter like the bread? Possibly the fruit cake I made today would be ok for her.

Won’t be making gluggy mince tarts again. Will make these much lighter versions in future. thin puff base. Additional grated apple in fruit mince mix and Frangipane topping. They reheat beautifully in AF. Made mini ones as  in photo and larger ones in muffin tins.

I made 1 1/2 mixtures of the  Sugar & Spice Shortbread yesterday.   This filled two of the jars that I bought.  Will make some more during the week.

DH went out and bought us another ham today. We seem to do this each year - buy one and eat it all and need another one for Christmas. At least it makes two ham bones for later in the year and pea soup.

I did 2 rye starter SD loaves today. They are in the fridge and I will bake them tomorrow.

Your baking looks fantastic (as always) Cookie :)

Black bread! Still a work in progress but a big improvement on the first loaf. New bread tin is a perfect size. The loaf weighs just over 2kg :o. Beside it is one of the big bottles of tomato relish. Ran out of time so apple cake will be tomorrow. Dinner is still to be decided  :)
