Corn silverside with a very nice sauce . Steamed for over 2 hours was delicious. Used verjuice, parsley, mustard, in the sauce (white) and cornflour, nice and light and some cooking juices . Winner .

Snap KAtie, we are having silverside as well.  I am trying out a new recipe done in the SC.

I have pork cutlets marinating in a kind of Chinese concoction. I'll get DH to cook them on the BBQ later.

Chookie, I have always cooked mine on the stove top the same as my mum did.  I put in the same ingredients as you do as well as an orange.

I love the sound of the orange Margaret, does it give it a special flavour?
Tonight we were having a ragu in the SC with pasta, but I forgot to get out the meat last night and put it in the fridge, so I don't think it will defrost in time. That will be for tomorrow night.

DS supplied our dinner tonight. He had made a huge Lentil Curry and brought over a portion for us to eat. Just need to steam some rice ;D

CC, lucky you.
I am back on my Louise Parker diet. Love this as many of the meals can be steamed in the Varoma trays.
Last night I steamed foil parcels that contained salmon, orange juice and rind, strips of Zuchinni and peas. In the top tray I steamed silverbeet.
Tonight , chicken wrapped in prosciutto, served with tomato and a mustard dressing.

That sounds delicious, not like diet food at all, Chookie.

I'm sure they have been understanding Astarra. I hope you feel better soon and that no one else catches it.

Oh, Astarra that is not good. DS and GD have the flu so will miss out on Father's Day party at DD.
Had the chicken for lunch as we had cray fish tails, cooked in AF with veggies in the Varoma for dinner.
