I love zucchini noodles.  We'd love to hear what you're making with it Marina.  I gave both my girls an upmarket spiralizer but I've only got a cheap little gadget that does the job for me.

I have a very simple one in the van and DH and I ate a lot of salads while we were away. I used it for carrot and raw beetroot each time I made a salad. I just had the vegetable scrubbed and took off what I wanted for each meal.

I've only done carrot and zucchini so far, but I have found a couple of interesting looking recipes to experiment with ... will let you know how they go (if they are successful!).

DH came home from Bunnings this morning and said I have bought you a present. I'm quite pleased with it as it is certainly needed. My old one is past had it.

I took some things to the op shop yesterday and saw a lovely cedar tall boy there .  It's in excellent condition and was at a bargain price.  I just couln't leave it there so bought it and it's now in the spare bedroom.

That sounds like a good buy. Mab.
There are lots of op shops in Ballarat and they are well patronised.
I have been taking a lot of cooking things that I no longer need to the Creswick swap.  I have to say that it is nice to see who takes what and looking so pleased with what they got.

I bought something similar this week cookie, I'd had the old one for 10 years or more!

I love tall boys Margaret, they hold so much. I've been looking in op shops around here for ages, some very good bargains to be had and I rarely come out without parting with a few dollars. A watch for $8 and a black leather belt for $3 were 2 of my best bargains.

Didn’t REALLY need anything that I bought, but what the hell.
Couple of new cooking books, a large Oak board to use as a platter and 8 large plates . I just love a nice table setting.
