Homemade fish & chips, I can't remember the last time I had this.  The fish was bought fresh from Costco some time back, can't remember what it was but it was delicious.

Looks good Judy. Like salad with fish and chips.
I nade Celeriac and leek soup. Thick and creamy, lovely.  Also madeNo fuss bread with whole wheat flour. Took more water. Cooked 1/2 as 6 rolls in AF and other 1/2 in SC.

300 celeriac
1 medium leek. Both  cooked in 1 teaspoon of oil for 5 minutes , Varoma, sp 2
Then covered with 800 g water and 3 stock cubes. Cooked 20 minutes, 100, Sp2.
Them 1 minute, sp. 10.
Lovely and creamy, about 80 calories per serve. ( 3 serves)
Recipe said to add a bunch of water cress at end but it was too wet and cold to go out to the garden to pick some.

Today we are having the Wok burner renovated on the Miele stove so it will be stir fry for dinner. There is a Blog called Woks of Life which I follow, so may look there for inspiration.

Following Katj's heads up on the Slow Cooker Central site, apart from browsing the website recipes Katie has lent me her copy of Book 1 and I've bought Book 2 ($15 at K-Mart, no photos in either book)

Tonight I made one of the recipes from Book 1 but it's also on the website. Sausage Paprikash
 https://www.slowcookercentral.com/recipe/sausage-paprikash/#comment-11823, it's very tasty.

It only took 2 hours on high and in that time I did some weeding (filled the green bin) and had a relaxing bath bath then in the last 30 minutes cooking time I cooked some veggies in the TMX.  Served it with potato & cauliflower mash & steamed veggies.  It made 3 meals for me, I only eat small quantities of sausages.
