Aldi sometimes have the HobNob biscuits when they do their "British" products.  I sometimes grab them and the confectionary for my mother.....a taste of the mother country.  Actually they have them as of today.....I just remembered that I wanted to call in and get some of the Jelly Babies....my personal weakness....

Are you going to surprise your Mum stacelee with some home-made HobNob biscuits?

I was thinking about it except I'm very traumatised at the moment....my convection microwave died last night, so I'm back to cooking in a normal oven.  My beloved husband however has encouraged me (gotta love them) to replace it with a new steam convection microwave (unfortunately it has to come from Sydney so I won't actually get it until tuesday or wednesday next week).  I am behaving a little (okay a LOT) like a spoilt brat as I actually have one of the wall ovens that is a one and a half oven.....but it is sooooooo convenient using the convection on the microwave.

These may have to be one of the first things I make when I do get the new microwave.

Thanks for the recipe Nik!! I'm annoyed at myself for forgetting that last tray, because now I don't have as many of these delicious bikkies :-)) :-))

I found some chocolate melts in the pantry, so they might accidently find their way into the microwave, figure out how to melt themselves, and then very cleverly drizzle themselves enticingly over the gorgeous Hob Nobs... you never know, it might happen ;) And if it doesn't, I'll do it myself :D
