Oh Cookie, that is hard to handle.
Our Probus group went out for lunch to a pub. I got lost and arrived late. They are such a nice group and made sure I had a seat and got me organised for lunch.  Earlier I had my second injection for Shingles. Doesn’t seem to be a reaction this time.

Mab, sounds lovely. Wish I could eat onions.
Have been playing around with the English Muffin recipes. The Cookidoo ones are nice but don’t have enough craggy texture when split with forks. The SD ones,( my recipe) are a better texture when split. I’m wondering if an added teaspoon of carbsoda to the Cookidoo recipe would make a difference. Might try tomorrow.

Today, going to wholesale where house for Laucke bread flour. Costs $3 a kilo for 12.5 kilo bag.

Using the Brisket to make a small cottage pie. Will mash it up in TMX. Cook homegrown potatoes for top. Just picked first handful of green beans.

KAtie, that’s good to know. GS went to pick up some friends from that event. He was worried about them in the heat. I therefore had Teddy for another night. He was unsettled, which wasn’t like him. I found out there had been some kids playing up. That was what he was barking at.

Anyone with Sunbeam 4 hole pie machine must try these. I made English Muffins from a Cookidoo recipe and cooked them in the Pie Maker. Perfect. I was testing as I want to make my SD English Muffins but was unsure about the timing. I think it will be ok. Cooked 5 minutes each side with lid down.
