Foxes are such a pest. DH made a fox proof fence for a neighbour years ago. He dug the fence into the ground etc.  the foxes still killed her hens and this was in the middle of suburbia.
I hope you get your BP sorted Chookie. It can be such a nuisance.

Sorry to hear about the foxes Katie, those poor chickens having to put up with prowlers trying to get to them and at times succeeding.  We see foxes here in suburbia as well.

It Is just sad as I should have put her back in with the others . Now I am hopping the Fox does not come back but that’s hopeful thinking . We never let them out unless we are around and cleaniing out the shead .

K Atie, try putting a radio in the shed, talkback is best.

We came home this morning. It only takes about 3 hours so that is good. I've done most of the washing and emptied the van. DH has washed the van and car and got rid of the possum widdle and poo droppings.

Have fun Margaret.

We can only get away for 4 nights at the moment. MIL hangs out waiting for DH to visit as she has no one else now. We also don’t want to be too far away, just in case. It’s a small price to pay, and we need to consider her.

Morning all.
Cookie, families can tie you down but can also be very supportive. It is nice to see the next generation stepping up. Big GD is going to Melbourne on the train to collect little GD to bring her up to us for a few days.
I have been reading profiles of Victorian schools published by the Age.   Nothing is mentioned of the schools encouraging social responsibilities.
Nice and cool here today.  Hoping for a little rain.

Cannot believe this I went to feed the chooks and one had died , DH removed it . Very unusual as she is only young . Let's hope there is no other reason . I did notice there was less eggs in the last few days . At lest there is no Fox surely a snake would not have got in who knows .

That's not nice at all K Atie.

This morning I had to pop in and see my GP. He had sent a text while we were away saying he wanted to see me re my recent tests. I had a sleepless night worrying that the pathology from my colonoscopy was bad. When I went in he said everything was fine!!!!! I wasn't really impressed. I'm glad we didn't rush home.
Apart from that I did a little ironing.
