Astarra's potato pinwheels
« on: March 26, 2013, 09:35:28 am »
I thought these sounded nice so if I forget how astarra made them, I thought I'd give them a place of their own.
Someone may like to post a picture when they try them  ;)

Potato pinwheels are just mashed potato mixed with onion flakes, grated cheese and diced bacon then spread onto pastry sheets, rolled up and sliced like ... well, like pinwheels! (or Scrolls) then put flat on a baking tray and cooked!! Really yum!   ;D

They sound interesting. I'm fascinated by the mashed potato in pastry. Worth a try.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
