Hello everyone.  Much nicer day today with a lovely sea breeze this afternoon.  Finally some relief. Some rain but not enough.
Maybe you will be driving one of the old cars down south cookie, enjoy your break.

Cookie, enjoy your small break away.   Sounds like fun.
Lovely cool 23 today.
Friend came yesterday and insisted on helping weed the veggie garden.  Greatly appreciated. It has been too hot to spend enough time to keep on top of the weeds. Chooks loved the weeds.

Fierce but, thankfully, short storm here late yesterday afternoon. It took all my weight and both hands to push my back door closed to keep the rain and wind out.  Fortunately we don't seem to have sustained damage ... that I can see, anyway.

1 hour later the air was still and no clouds in the lovely blue sky.

Good to know you weathered the brief storm Marina.

A cold wind here today but at least it sunny. A good walk with Chance early this morning, Being a Sunday it was very quiet with no one around.

Marina, this weather is crazy.  Glad you are ok.
Looks like a week of mild weather. Lovely. Can’t do much when it is so very hot.
Off to Melbourne tomorrow for hair cut and 2 Dr appointments and then dinner with DS and family.

Good morning everyone.  Just me again after the weekend with the dogs.  I took them into the nursing home yesterday for the first time.

Georgous dogs Judy. I love how Geoff and your Mum are looking at the dogs. Friends of ours take their dog to visit her Mum at the nursing home and he apparently runs down to her room.

Judy, bet Geoff & your Mum loved the visit from the dogs.  They are very cute!  I would love another dog but unfortunately Wayne say’s NO!

The only problem is that they tie you down Trudy.  These 2 have fun staying with me so it’s a good arrangement. There are quite a few people who take dogs into the nursing home, Mum doesn’t usually bother with them but Geoff particularly loves this little one which one of the carers brings in.

Lovely photos Judy. Geoff is certainly taken with the carers little dog.

Another cold day here as it was a particularly hard frost overnight.

The dogs are gorgeous.  There is something so very therapeutic about having a sweet tempered dog for people to relate to, I am sure their visit does them the world of good.
