I hope your visit to the optician went well Cuilidh.  I received a notice last week so must make an appointment soon.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Believe it or not, one of my eyes has improved slightly, the other is much the same.  Went through several eye health checks and all were very positive - no signs of cataracts, macular degeneration, etc.  All nerves were good and so on.  Very happy - except I have to buy a couple of new frames because both of my old pairs were in a deplorable state of repair, but that's OK, I needed a change anyway!

Good news about the cataracts Marina. I have them beginning but the specialist says nothing needs to be done for at least 5 years.

We have spent most of the day at the Apple shop at Highpoint shopping centre. There is a large degree of diffence in the ability in the staff's understanding and ability to help. We were very lucky today to get Michael. He did cart wheels trying to help us. A young man with amazing problem solving abilities. We tested him to the extreme.  :). You see Ral ended up with all my photos on his new iPad. None of his.
I think we are ok now.

Some of the Apple employees are wonderful. When we took DH's iPad to them the other week they treated DH very well, not like a silly old technophobe who gets cross if his iPad does things he doesn't want.
When I was looking last week the lass that helped me was wonderful too. I will look out for her when I buy the new one next Saturday.

Cookie, good idea to look for that lass who helped you. Good luck.
Ral just loves the new Pro. He will have lots of fun with it. He got a case with keyboard attached.

I've only ever passed through their stores Chookie. That looks so good. Almost like a cake on top of the coffee.
