We're having visitors for lunch at the nursing home today but being a public holiday the cafe won't be open so we're all taking our own lunch.  I thought I'd made a fun lunch for DH as he prefers finger food over anything else and it will be a change from what's on the menu today. I did a terrible job of the mice but it will give him a laugh.

The mice are very cute, Judy.  Gold star in my opinion  ;)

Thanks Marina. I held the container out in front of Mum to show her the mice and she went to grab a prawn - tunnel vision, she saw the prawns first and wanted one LOL.  How could DH refuse his MIL even though she had crumbed calamari, chips & salad on her plate and he isn't allowed to have them.

Oh poor Geoff. His lunch looks lovely Judy. I'm sure you enjoyed preparing it for him.

Yes I did cookie but all plans to make a plateful of mice for our Probus Club birthday went out the door as they are not easy to make.

I'm sure GS would love that Denise.  I found them on the internet somewhere ages ago.

Judy, Ral and I loved the mice. Like CC, think I will pinch your idea as we always have lots of eggs and the GC love them.

I remember now where I saw them, Bedlam posted a link on FB ages ago. They put mine to shame as I never was that talented in the presentation stakes.  Your grand-children or children will all probably do a better job than me.

Mothers Day lunch today. Cooked by me. Roast lamb with all the trimmings. Fruit salad and ice cream. Lazy sort of lunch as I want to spend time in veggie patch while it is not raining.

All enjoyed, nearly all of a very large Cauliflower Cheese consumed.
Left overs for Cottage pie today.
