I had to google OMD Margaret but unfortunately I'm none the wiser really. I hope they can find out exactly what you have and can treat it to make your life more comfortable.

Best wishes to your Dad Robyn.

Yes the AGM went well Denise, I am now Assistant Secretary and we have 4 new committee members including an Assistant President.  We younger ladies are going to help out our older counterparts with a view of taking over when they can no longer manage the role.

Good morning everyone, have a great weekend.

I don't know Chookie, I guess I just take it as it comes and do what has to be done.  Thankfully our Secretary keeps late hours like me and we are often still emailing each other around midnight.

Hi friends.
A damp start to the day here. Not sure what the rest of the day is going to do.

You have busy times ahead Judy. It's lovely that you have taken on a committee position as clubs wouldn't run without people like you.

Morning all .
Stripped all the beds except the one we sleep in. Packed 13 boxes of cooking books yesterday. Learnt a very good lesson. Don't open a book that you think you might discard. You will keep it.
DS birthday today so they are coming for lunch. Can manage a roast chicken lunch but not the Pud. Bought some Magnam ice creams on sticks.
Neighbours and family coming and removing lots of stuff. They are delighted, so are we.

Good morning everyone.

Good news about Dad Robyn.  Is the food not good at his nursing home?

Had a laugh at you with your recipe books Chookie, it's always a hard choice deciding what to keep.  Sounds like you're going to have a working bee today and everyone will go home with a car load of unwanted goods.  Have a lovely day.

Good morning everyone, lovely sunny day in Perth today.
Mab, glad the doctors have found a reason for your discomfort, and soon find a way to give some relief.
Judy, congrats on your Assis.secretary position, a good way to keep your mind active, not that you need it with all you do.
Glad your Dad is doing ok Robyn, don't they serve meals at his nursing home?
Chookie, when we moved I went through all books and found lots of recipes I had overlooked in the past. If there was more than a few I kept the book, otherwise just scanned and copied the one or two from books to get rid of. I won't lie it was time consuming! Lol

I had a chuckle at you and the cookery books Chookie. It's like an adventure looking through one you haven't used for a while.

Good news about your Dad Robyn. It is a worry.
