Kay, if you want a set custard to serve in fancy glasses or dishes isi's Light Coffee Cream quick dessert works well by replacing the coffee with 100g chocolate blitzed first in the TMX and added at the end with the cream

Use 30-50g of good quality chocolate grate with the sugar then proceed as normal with the custard recipe  ;) I love using orange lindt chocolate. Hope this helps

Thank you so much. My son suddenly loves dark chocolate (he is 8 and only just started to eat chocolate) so when I made the caramel custard last night he asked if I could make him some chocolate custard and I thought it would be nicer with using real chocolate. Again thanks so much.

We had a blueberry custard the other night. After I had made it I gently stirred 50g Lindt blueberry chocolate through it. On reverse until it melted. I love it with the almond one in too.

Make the ordinary EDC custard without the lemon. At the end fold in on reverse 50g on Blueberry Lindt chocolate and let it melt. We had some leftover blueberries from a creamed rice so I carefully folded those through after it came out of the bowl.
The blueberries were simply cooked  with a little sugar and 2 strips of orange peel. I used frozen blueberries.

Pretty sure the Melbourne consultants were doing a version of the custard using blocks/pieces of chocolate.

I didn't take much notice because I am not a dessert person, but may pay to ask your consultant/GL to contact Janine B in Melbourne?

I just make a white sauce and throw in some block chocolate and a bit of vanilla.
