Shame I don't drink coffee. I'll just have to have the liquor and icecream lol.

Hard one eh?

Ooh I want a proper Affogato. No more Clayton's ones for me.  :'( :'(

Just made this again today. Strangely, I think this must be one of my favorite forum recipes! I'm in love!

I tried just regular coffee today to see if there is a difference between regular coffee in afternoon or bulletproof as I need the sweetness which doesn't come through when I add sweetener in bulletproof (I tried alternative sweeteners I've read about elsewhere). Not sure if there is much difference but maybe there are health benefits.

I added a dash of maple syrup into the cup (not into the thermomix for the cooking/mixing part) and I found the flavour worked really well.

Interesting recipe   :D had to try it after Laura's recommendation - it's drinkable, doesn't taste like coffee to me. I don't add sweeteners to my coffee and found this sweet enough. Don't know how to describe the taste, its quite nice, but think I will stick to piccolos.

I am interested to see if the munchies stop and I feel full - coconut oil is supposed to be filling. ;D

I honestly don't ever want to try this as I like my coffee strong with a dash of milk and no sweetener of any form.
Now the Affogato is another story and a lovely way to end a meal  ;D

I have to agree with Gert - why put all that fat in?  Even a splash of skim milk wouldn't be as fatty as that. My mind boggles at the taste......

Good question!
A) because it's good for you - check out the attached article for more info
And
B) it tastes delicious!

I do agree that coconut oil is good for us but we can use it in other ways instead of in our coffee.
Same with ghee and butter but not in coffee.

Actually I thought it was an April Fool's Day joke but realize some people really like this. Still not sure putting more fat in the diet is good, wherever it comes from
