Afternoon all.
Visitors gone. Very nice day. Teddy the Bulldog puppy charmed everyone. He has been given a Bulldog jumper to wear but got into the garden and wriggled out of it.
Roast duck was the best ever. I cut it into 1/4 s. Roasted at 300F (approx 150C) in oven bag for 2 hours. When ready to eat, put it back into a hot oven and crisped up skin.

Hi friends.
It rained all night so my walk with Chance this morning was a bit soggy underfoot.

Good morning everyone.

Chookie did you really roast that duck at 300 degrees Celcius for 2 hours, that's a very hot oven.

Good morning everyone.
Not a lot happening here as I have been laid low with a flu like bug, even tho I have had a flu shot.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Good morning everyone.  I'm told if you do still come down with the flu after a shot, it won't me so intense Margaret - not sure about that as there are so many different strains of flu.  Lay low and get well soon.

I hope you feel better soon Margaret :-*

A sunny warm day here today. Early walk with Chance. Poor boy cut his paw but its not serious. It's bleeding  a bit.

Mab19 , we all had flu shots DD14, DS12 as they get so sick , GP advised us last year to do this . Last year I got the flu but it could have been worse . So many strains now . We have thermi tea when a cold hits this house . It's the BH&G cold and flu drink .
