I haven't made one of those for a couple of months. DH loves it because of the crust.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I have to confess I just had to have this bread tin 3(?) years ago when everyone was buying it. Excitedly ordered it, was so happy when it arrived but I haven't used it once! I may have to dig it out and use it soon.

I know they were hard to get at the time ES, I think mine came from the UK but it can be known as a tank loaf tin or a pipe loaf tin.

Here's a link to a Victorian supplier, yikes they aren't cheap.

Thanks Judy. That was the only single one I could find, but it's a bit too pricy for me.. I think I'll keep looking for one in a secondhand store

Sue, I bought it from eBay from a link that the girls posted at the time. It came from a UK kitchen shop. I'm sure it didn't cost as much as that one.
