That's good news about the crops K Atie. I grew up in the northern Wheatbelt over here and they won't be cropping this year as they have no rain. Everything is still dust. So sad.

Hi friends,
A cooler day here with high winds. Glad I had a warm coat on when walking Chance this morning.

Morning all.
Not as cold this morning. 3 degrees.
Off to Creswick swap, then out to friends home for lunch.
K ATIE, where abouts do you farm? Do the Kangaroos sit in the paddocks where you grow the grain. .?
Interested as DH grew up in the Mallee in Victoria.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Cookie , kangaroos are  not too much of a problem they can do damage but they have always been around . Not too many here, sad they will not crop this year , we had that once in 15 years that I have been here ,farming gives you many challengers and in the first few years I moved here we had it all including fire that is life though . Chookwoman we are south of the Grampians , manly cropping and sheep . Yes they were in the crop . Spent the morning helping  bagging sheep manure for DS , freezing . Hockey this arvo for some more freezing weather ❄️❄️❄️

Thanks K ATIE. You are not all that far from us. We are just outside of Ballarat.
Yes farm life does throw up lots of challenges. My DH was originally from Sea lake.

Hi friends.
It started dull and damp this morning but the sun eventually came out. An early walk with Chance. He retrieved the back end a dead rabbit for me today. It was fairly decomposed  :-X Chance was so pleased with his find LOL.
