I must have a great mind too..... I forget to take things out of the freezer  ;) and have to put them into the Varoma - MrsT's chicken nuggets just the other day to warm them while something else was cooking - simple.

I find things just sitting in the varoma on the bench will do it. I think it is just that the air can flow around everything...mind you I can see a time when I will have to use the TMX to gently defrost things...with a memory like mine at only my age! lol help me in my later years  :o :o

LOL Gretchen you need to add to the improvements on the next model link that you would like a finder beeper (like those key rings that beep when you whistle for them  :o)

i've probably missed the step but where do you put the sugar in? :)  Also, I'm assuming you leave the sauce cooking the extra 15mins with the meatballs? lol

I am such a n00b!

It's looking good! :)

It should probably say

Add garlic, onion, green pepper, carrot and sugar.

And yes, the extra 15 minutes for the sauce steams the meatballs above it.

Yay me... dinner has been so much easier this past week!!!  I have the garlic rice ready to roll... not used to rice that doesn't taste like mush so it's a definite improvement!

Good call Snoozie - not so silly!

I guessed that it could be added with the tomatoes and made the alteration before getting back to see Cathy's post !!!!  ?? probably should be with the veg - but don't think it will matter that much.

And yes, once the sauce has cooked for 15 minutes you should then place the Varoam filled with meatballs to cook for another 15 minutes - but make them small meatballs or you will need longer cooking.

and now even Snoozie has posted - so slow...

I made this the other night for dinner and was very impressed.  DH and the kids gobbled them up which is always a bonus!!!  I served the meatballs and sauce with spaghetti.  I made 22 meatballs (fairly small) and they were cooked perfectly in the 15 minutes.  :)

hehehe I only made 18 but I was rushing a bit so they weren't masterpieces lol  Still tasted awesome though!

The icecream for dessert I made last night was a clear winner though. lol

Okay another dumb question heehee

Do you freeze the meatballs after you've cooked them or after you've marinated them?
