That does look nice Cookie.
I had forgotten the Classic loaf, thanks, must make again.
I bought 4 Ks of chicken bones for $4. Will make stock and freeze most. Visited a Chinese grocer and an Italian Deli while in Melbourne. Although I am trying to use up the stuff in the pantry, I still manage to need to buy some things. This time it was the special Fish Sauce that I use.

Marinating some chicken legs. Maggie Beer recipe. Marinade has lemon rind, Bay leaves, Rosemary , a pinch of cinnamon and a bit of olive oil. After browning, a dash of Balsamic, raisins and capers and baked. Served with flaked Almonds.

Yesterday I made a roast vegetable quiche for my dinner as I am avoiding meat at the moment.  This morning I have made some Vegetable Soup and will make some biscuits later.

So far, beef spare ribs in the presser cooker, and a topside roast in the slow cooker.
Now to make brownies, and a slice in thermie.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

One of my least successful days cooking, everything seemed to turn out 'not quite right' - 5:2 diet 'bubble and squeak' (the most successful attempt for the day); tomato and basil strata, pasties and macaroni and cheese.  I have been trying for ages to 'crack' a good version of vegan macaroni and cheese and still have not been successful ... I will continue with my experiments!

After 2 unsuccessful tries I have managed to post this recipe. The computer and ipad were being unfriendly.
