CC, that certainly looks nice.  Think I will make some.
What a nice DS you have , to share his food with you.
We seem to have visitors popping in all the time , so thought I would make Cinnamon rolls and freeze most .  I can then take out a few as needed and bake them.
Creswick Swap tomorrow.  Might make biscuits to take.

Up early again this morning so made some Nectarine and Raspberry Jam.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I’ve been absent from the forum for a long time! Life has got in the way.
I’m at my DD's making tomato and capsicum paste. we had the dreaded C161 error and used Thermofixed's solution of removing the back plate and tightening the arm screw. It appears to have worked!
My son in law has had a cancerous tumor removed from his salivary gland, and is undergoing treatment in the city, four hours from their home. I’ve been coming and staying when I can, filling her freezer and pantry and helping with the children.  It’s got me back in to using my Thermie again!

Update on C161 error. It’s just come up again once I went to blitz the paste.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

MJ, just thinking of you.  Had just found the last of the beautiful shampoo that I bought from you ages ago.
Hope all turns out ok for SIL.
Security gate man stayed for hours. Didn’t get anything done except a batch of Nay Nay scones.

Choosier, the shampoo will be fine! As long as it still smells good, it's fine

Hi MJ. Rotten news about the SIL. I often see your name come up on Instagram and Facebook.

I made some mini fruit cakes the other day. They are very tasty and easy to make. Today I made an apple cake.

Nice cakes Cookie.  I made a fruit cake the other day andfor what ever reason it was a huge flop.  We ate around the edges and gave the rest to the birds.

More Nectarine & Raspberry jam this morning.

The rolls look delicious Chookie. I'd love to make some but I know it will eat too many of them.

More sides for the freezer. Roasted jap pumpkin and something I saw on pinterest today, garlic parmesan roasted potatoes - alternating slices of sweet and ordinary potato, occasionally a slice of onion then brushed with a spicy, cheesy mixture.  http://www.eatwell101.com/garlic-parmesan-roasted-potatoes-recipe  - I’m hoping they will freeze and reheat OK, of course mine looks nothing like the original! I’ve already separated them into serving sized pieces for the freezer in the picture.

I’d eat one of those quite willingly Chookie, I like nice crispy anything.  Are you still getting used to your oven in the new house?
