I am not going to mention this great sausage to DH or I will forever be making them.

Thank you all for your kind words - look forward to seeing some others try them.  :)

Another thing you can do is actually wrap a strip of bacon around them before the cheese and herbs, gives it more visual appeal!

Made these tonight for mum and I and yum, yum, yum  ;D
We bought pork, sage and apple sausages and followed your recipe adding a few sautéd mushrooms and took your advice and used some pineapple too. ( canned pineapple) as couldn't find fresh. My DH will love this sooo much.
Thanks Astarra for a lovely quick and easy meal and very tasty.  ;D

I finally got around to trying this recipe for lunch today astarra, sadly too late for DH as I know he would have really enjoyed them.  I only had 4 sausages left so 2 for me and 2 for Mum but I plan to buy some more and make up a batch for the freezer to give DD next time I see her.  I really enjoyed them, thanks so much for sharing this recipe with us. I cooked the sausages out on the WeberQ whilst I cooked potatoes to mash in the Thermomix.  After they were filled I just popped them into the air fryer on baking paper 200o for 10 minutes. Perfect.  They would need longer if you have refrigerated them.

Linked to air fryer times list.

I bought some nice sausages at the butcher the other day so I must do these now.
