Good that your renovations are complete, Robyn.  CC, 12 pounds is better than 11 pounds!  Hope it was a good sale regadless of the outcome.

We had a good weekend, Saturday was our anniversary and we managed to get together with our best man and his daughter and have brunch at a lovely cafe in a small village called Malmsbury then in the evening DH and I went through to Bendigo to treat ourself at Masons, a wonderful restaurant which has  a menu with brilliant and unusual food combinations as well as an excellent wine list (I even had TWO :o glasses of wine ... unheard of for me!).  We we spent the night at the Shamrock Hotel before heading back to Guildford then on down to the city.

Congratulations on your anniversary Marina & DH, so glad you were able to do something with your best man on the day but also have that special time later for just the 2 of you.  Win win for everyone.

Sounds lovely Marina.

In about a month, we are building another room in downstairs, as a extra pantry, and for my cooking machines I don't use every day, and to move the 3 freezers into. Then to update the 2 bedrooms downstairs as well. :)
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Morning all.
CC, not too bad really.
Marina, great that you were able to share a meal with your best man and his daughter. Masons in Bendigo is rather special. We have been there several times and always enjoyed it. It is very much a special occasion place. Congratulation to you and DH on your Anniversary.
Obbie, go for it. I have had extra shelves put into a very large walk in wardrobe, next to the kitchen. I have all my appliances stored there as well as preserves.
I miss my large freezer that I had at Cherokee. Still have 2 upright ones, but keep filling them with 'specials'. which I can't resist. Still getting used to the convenience of Ballarat.

Morning all.
Quite warm this morning. Supposed to be 1 degree but is 6.
Finding this house very dusty. Think it is the carpet.

Good morning (just) everyone.  A nice winter's sunny day here, that always makes you feel good. A busy day planned, a bit of a 'me day' really.

Marina I'm pleased that your special day was celebrated in such a special way. The 40 years goes very quickly doesn't it?

Good on you having a 'me day' Judy. You deserve it.

Using vouchers the kids gave me for my 70th last September, I went to the movies then had a 90 minute massage & facial at Endota - wonderful!

How lovely Judy.You deserve pampering :-* :-*

On my walk this morning I saw this oak tree had lost a huge bough. :o Thank goodness no animals, horses or people were hurt.
Rain here later.I've been pottering around in the garden potting up Cape Gooseberries plants and a Chilli plant so they can benefit from the rainfall.

Good morning everyone.
Good luck with your plantings Denise, I've never seen a gooseberry plant here so I googled it  - the fruit looks like tiny tomatoes.
