Looks good Obbie. Will try it and compare it to my recipe.
Going to make some hamburger buns. Not sure yet whether to make No Fuss recipe or Brioche. I don't want them too bready.
Cooking tripe with onions. Need to make mashed potatoes.
Bought a small lamb's fry. Nice with onion gravy and mashed potato.
We live in potato growing country. Can buy good spuds for 50cents a kilo.

That is wonderful Chookie. Until, the end of last year we had a Potato Marketing board that controlled the potatoes that we grown here. We still don't seem to get much variety and they aren't cheap.

Great price Chookie, I will pay whatever price they want for potatoes - my favourite veggie.

It is Falafel week/ day this week. I am making another batch from my recipe that I have posted. A lot of different recipes have been posted in the Age and I was keen to try some but family insisted that I make my usual ones.
Last night we had Souvlaki for dinner.
Yesterday I noticed Bakers Delight has small Cinnamon rolls topped with cream cheese icing. $2.60 each. What a rip off. They had some out for tasting. The base  was a semi Broiche. That is not so heavy on the eggs and butter. Must make some. julieO recipe is excellent and they freeze well in uncooked state.
I have Lamb shank and pearl barley soup on the go. Good for this cold weather.

Yum, lamb shank & pearl barley soup - Mum used to make that when we were kids, she made the best soups in her pressure cooker.

Astarra, I tried freezing raw pumpkin once and it wasn't a success.  I ended up throwing it out.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

That looks delicious Chookie. I saw the mini cinnamon scrolls at Bakers Delight. My initial thought was how cute, then I saw the price. I think it is time to make some.

I only have a loaf of bread rising today. I was out all morning getting my hair cut and eyes checked.

Pipe loaf with seeds, beans and grain.

The seeds, beans and grain, soaked then cooked for 20 minutes.
I will freeze what I don't use immediately.

The pipe loaf looks perfect. The beans and grains looks very interesting.
No cooking here at the moment. I have just taken my SD starter out of the fridge and fed it up.
