It is cooler today with a little rain. We are dropping off our old chairs at the Charity shop today.

Good morning everyone, much to my delight the change moved in last night. 2 days of a taste of summer was enough for me.

Good morning everyone. Much cooler today
We are going to a presentation of GD's year 12 work folios this evening. She has put in hours and hours of work into this during the year and received a score of 94 for her effort.

Mab, that is a terrific score. Takes after her Granny! What was in her folio?

Congratulations on your GD’s achievement Margaret.
It started very foggy this morning.I started walking Chance in the dark. Being older he doesn't go tearing off like he did when he was younger, so I don’t worry he will hurt himself.

Milder weather today. Need to cut back and pull out plants in veggie garden.

Good morning everyone. Much cooler here today. Thank you everyone for the congratulations to GD.
Chookie, GD's art folio theme was horror (only GD would pick a subject like that)
. Her work created a lot of interest and was certainly not like any of the other students.

Hi friends.
It rained early this morning but it's all blown away to reveal sunshine.

This week I am starting my annual advent box of goodies to donate to a homeless person. A bit earlier than usual, but if I buy things gradually it is easier to fill the box with a good variety of things rather than panic buying nearer Xmas. I like to include a range of pre-packaged (supermarket) nibbles, toiletries and also pop in a scarf and beanie for the colder weather. You have to be very careful not to include anthing that might damage the recipient, i.e. no glass jars, and no drugs, (disprin, etc.). Perishables aren't really any good either. Sometimes it can be very challenging to get a nice and interesting box together.
Does anyone else make up these boxes? What do you put in yours?

Another lovely mild day coming up. More time in veggie garden.
Mab, I’ll bet that GD folio did cause a stir. Great that she is stepping outside the box.
Creswick Farmers Market today.
Marina, what a good idea. Never heard of this programme. Who organises it?
Big fun run in Ballarat this Sat. Nearly everyone in Ballarat is involved. Money raised is for Children’s ward of local hospital.

Good morning folks.
Chookie, just noticed your new avatar - what’s the story behind this one please. It sounds like a fun day in Ballarat today, have you and Ral got your running shoes on LOL.
Marina, what a lovely thing to do. There are some ideas here

Good morning everyone. Quite cool here and a little bit of rain.
Cuilidh, that is a very thoughtful thing to do.
