Moroccan spice mix - love it.

Used the spice for a marinade on butterflied lamb, mixed with evoo/lemon juice & rind/maple syrup/garlic.
Cooked it following the jerk lamb recipe directions.
Added the spice mix to the pearl couscous side as well.
Delicious.

Does the milkshake maker still work ?

Certainly does K Atie  :)
It's from the 50's I believe, made in Melbourne.
I've had it for many years now, & probably my favourite to date.
It's so powerful, and sounds like a jet taking off lol.

I do love modern appliances, but adore the charm of vintage  :)

Still pursuing vintage kitchenware, and have had some luck on recent auctions  ;)
All from the 50's, especially adore the blender!
The wrap unit has recently been refurbished pink, originally aluminium.

Avocado & lime mayonnaise

Silky avocado with a slight twang from the lime.
Just lovely.

Baklava chocolate bars

Generally, not a fan of white chocolate...but this I loved!
Gorgeous flavour & textures.
Worth the cost of sourcing the cacao butter  ;)

I couldn't survive without a dryer...the joys of being a Victorian  :P

My slow cooker died, so upgraded to the new cuisinart model.
You can sauté/brown  in this cooker, slow cook, simmer & steam....testing it out tonight with the BHG self saucing sticky date & banana pudding.

I'm still waiting for my snack press to turn up....think my tuppa lady has forgotten!!

I dropped an order of melts off to a store I supply...and walked out with this gorgeous, massive serving board.
Mango wood made by Davis & Waddell.
It was used the next day for nibbles & wine with the girls  :P

Made this tonight...implemented Chelsea's tweaks, used coconut cream instead of milk.
I upped the chicken to 1kg...yummy.
Served with Tenina's coconut waffles, instead of rice for a change.

A tupperware snack press for gnocchi, chevaps etc.

And a few goodies from the local Italian wholesaler...including 500g of dried porcini...works out so much cheaper :)
