Thermilover, good idea. I was wondering if I could dry the leaves and then make kale powder.

The pot set yoghurt looks great Cookie. I have an Aldi yoghurt maker that uses little glass pots/jars and might be perfect. Where did you find that recipe Cookie?

Little bit of cooking here and there. Mostly soup and porridge. I found a lovely pumpkin soup recipe which uses sweet potato, I think it's my new go-to http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/soups-recipes/best-ever-pumpkin-soup/246458

Had lunch out so just soup from freezer.  Thought it was pea and ham but when defrosted it was Cauliflower. I couldn't face Cauli again this week so added a drained tin of Asparagus cuts.  Boiled it up in TMX and added a dollop of horseradish cream that I had made to go with roast beef tomorrow. Gave it a real lift. Will be doing this again.

Will post Horseradish recipe.

And a new soup recipe was born Chookie.

I've made French Custard (both my DD's favourite dessert) and finished a pulled beef cottage pie for tomorrow night's birthday dinner for DD2 as well as the prep work on other things I'll be cooking at the last minute tomorrow.

Well done Chookie.
Maddy what recipe do you use for your Vanilla Paste please? I've made it once but it wasn't a super success.

Thanks Denise, it will be nice to have the family together again.

Today I'll be cooking Chelsea's Creamy Prawn Risotto, some Sticky Chicken Drumsticks and Donna Hay's Belly Pork recipe.

Visitors for lunch. Roast beef with all the trimmings and Belgium lemon tea cake. Cantucci biscuits to fill in the gaps.
Judy, expect us to fly over for the pork belly, Ral says. Sounds like a delicious family meal.

Big pot of vege stew, EDC stock concentrate, Judy's Lentil and Spinach Soup (with silver beet instead of spinach), Mushrooms Benedict and I'll also roast up a load of veges that I couldn't fit into my stew pot!
