Bogie, thanks for all that info. As I use very few official TMX recipes I am not interested. This in no way diminishes how wonderful I think the TMX is. I can see that this might appeal to some people

I'm a bit like Chookie, I rarely, if ever use official tmx recipes. I now select what I want to make and alter it to thermomix as I make it.
I will admit that I did enter a competition to win one though. I think if I won and Grace found out who I was she would redraw it.
Did anyone else read the Tenina was issued with a writ at a cooking class the other day?

Cookie, that doesn't sound good for Tenina. I read recently that TMX HO here had had a win at court against an ex consultant.

Oh no! She is doing so well. I  presume it is the same issue. It was so long ago.

This case wasn't Tenina but the consultant was in WA. R

Oh no, I luv Tenina's recipes.  Hope she's ok.  I even thought about going to Bali with her next year.

I have a lot of chips and do use Cookidoo a bit, but I use a lot of other cookbooks too, so I'm still on the fence about the cook key.  I think you're better off with a cookbook or chip that you can use anytime without having to pay a subscription, but then with the key you get access to 27000 recipes, so surely there must be some interesting stuff in there.

Bogie, go with what suits you. We all use our TMX in slightly different ways. I just wish HO in Australia would be a little more generous to people who have their machines. It seems that the Cook Key is just another money making scheme. Once you understand the simple principles of converting recipes, almost any recipe can be converted from cook books or magazines.

Thank you everyone , the amount of recipes you can view on cookidoo are also in foreign languages . Think I may sit on the fence with this and see what happens . Not really into meal planning either .

I'd like to see and try a lot of the recipes before I spent that sort of money. I think I will just carry on as I am.
I ordered Alyce's icecream moulds the other day. DD and DH like an icecream on a stick after dinner. I'm hooping the home made version will go down well.

Hi has anyone bought the cook key. Is it worth buying.

I convert so many recipes to the thermy, but also like to make up recipes  as I cook.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

I don't know of anyone who has Robyn. I sort of like the idea but not the fact that you have to keep paying each year or something similar.
If you check One Man and his Thermie on Facebook  you may find something. Or if you do Instagram try following idbarron. He used to live in Brisbane and has since been transferred back to U.K. And then up to Aberdeen. He has become a consultant and has the cook key and is cooking from it.

No I haven't. I may have thought about it but I don't  like the idea of paying every year or so. I have just pre ordered Alyce Alexandra's new book and also Tenina's. I don't seem able to resist these!!!!!
