Ac hookwoman that sounds like a great idea , even the chooks have had enough apple scraps . Will do that  or if I get some time crab apple jelly . Apples bottled in the microwave , can you use normal glass jars ? I have seen your post on that . This is what I love about this forum , sharing and inspiring . Oh yes we had Thermobectas Mushroom stroganoff. DS 12 not happy , he really does not like mushrooms . But there was chewy bits of apple crumble devoured after .

KATIE, it is the lid that is important on the glass jars. It should have that little white seal inside the lid.

We had 'clean out the fridge' soup with grilled steak, a potato and chorizo tortillas, and broccoli baked in the oven with garlic, chilli and oil on it. The latter was DD's suggestion and it was quite nice.
In the background is a failed Ciabiatta I made. It was a new recipe and I felt it was too moist and it flattened out quickly.

Cookie, I always have trouble making Ciabatta. I sometimes buy it now but a good loaf of SD costs $4+.

We had a BBQ tonight.Cooked Skinnymixers Middle Eastern Lamb Cutlets. I have to say they were delicious.

We had Skinny mixers Chunky bolianse  with ribbon pasta . Very tasty and filling . Bring on the holidays , first night win win.

Quiche Lorraine with added courgette ( zucchini) A friend is inundated with them at the moment and gave me two baby ones, which I sliced thinly and added to the mixture. Served it with Raw Asian Salad. I would add photos but apparently they are too big to post

The salad is delicious so if anyone wants the recipe just shout out.
