Price increase of the TM5 in the UK
« on: January 09, 2017, 08:52:18 pm »
I've read on various FB pages that U.K. Thermomix will be increasing the price of the TM5 from the 1st of February 2017 due to the £ exchange rate and increase in price in other countries.

It will be interesting when Article 50 is invoked Marina.I reckon the £ will plummet even more. :-)) The say it might take up to 10 years to untangle from Europe.

It's quite amazing. Did it take that long to become a member of the European CM ? I can't remember.

We've been a member of the Common Market and then the European Union for about 40 years Cookie. Not sure how long we took to intergrate :-\

I don't feel so bad about not remembering then, if it was that long. Half the time I can't remember what I had for dinner last night!!?

Good Evening / Morning Everyone,

I thought that I would post this here (best place I could find).

So, after some culinary oversight from her over the years it would appear as though the master is now the student........yep Rotorchefs mum has decided to join the Thermomix culinary revolution.

So, taking into consideration the thread title can anyone in the UK advise of any distributors who are interested in either parting ways with a trusty TM31 or maybe even convincing my mum to part with her hard earned ££££££ for a new TM5.

Now, I will take this opportunity to advise any potential demonstrators that 1) This lady can cook! She knows here stuff.........but she is really a pushover. 2) Her home isn't actually her house - it belongs to our most adorable dog who is a big lad but incredibly well trained. He is good enough to let us share his space and will probably like you if you are a good demonstrator....ie he likes your food!

So - any recommendations / suggestions / guidance is very gratefully received.

I trust everyone is well (apologies for being absent - I am busy trying to get a new career going).

Cheers

RC
Remember - the little blade at the rear goes really fast and makes a big mess. Stay away from it!

Hi RC. It sounds like your Mum is a good candidate for a thermomix. Could you or she email the office in the UK to get someone to help her?

RC I was recently "adopted" by this lovely Thermomix Advisor. I reckon if you contact her she will be more than willing to help you.
