Yesterday I made Avacado Hummus. Very nice so will post recipe.
Grilled salmon with 2 second salad, ( TMX)  and microwaved potato for dinner last night.
Also made Peanut butter from freshly roasted peanuts from Farmers Market. No salt, no sugar. So easy in the TMX.

I've only just discovered how nice the thermomix peanut butter is Chookie. When I get home I will try a couple of other nut butters. I know Katj likes macadamia butter.

Today I reheated a curry I made the other day and cooked rice for it.

Cookie, DH makes his own peanut butter everyweek from roasted unsalted peanuts.

My freezer was empty so had a cooking spree over the weekend.  I made a roast vegetable fittata, potato peel soup (a bit bland at the moment but I hope it will improve by tonight - added some Moroccoan spice mix and smoked paprika to perk it up a bit so it is now a pink colour!), smokey bean Mexican soup, chickpea casserole, Moroccan baked potatoes and pumkin soup - that should keep us going for the week!

Cookie, my favourite nut butter is ABC butter. Almond, Brazil and Cashew, equal parts. I bought a small book on nut butters but found it better to experiment.
Marina, what a great cook up you have had.
I made sausage rolls for an after school snack for the GC .
Grilled Salmon for dinner with a French potato dish from Annie Smithers book. Salad from the garden.
For breakfast I have been having 2 tablespoons Oat bran cooked until creamy with 1 1/2 cups low fat milk, topped with a sliced apple and dusted with cinnamon. Very filling and very tasty. From Louise Parker diet.

Phew Astarra, that is a lot.
Thanks Chookie I will try the ABC butter, it sounds nice.

No cooking here today. We packed things away ready to go to Carnarvon tomorrow.

Todaymaking Pea and ham soup with ham hock that I bought at QV market. Also some SweetChilli sauce with chillies also from the market.
Astarra, the school is very fortunate to have you making muffins for them.

I'm looking forward to getting home to be able to make soup, casseroles and my own SD bread.
This morning I bought a supposedly Farmhouse SD loaf up here. I doubt if any SD had even sat next to it.  It is reasonable bread if you like polystyrene.
We can't use the bread maker as we are out and about sight seeing. It's a bit too old and noisy to use at night.

Can you make a successful SD loaf in a bread maker, Cookie?
